Our new naturally processed SIP Yirga Ethiopia is a treat that's hard to beat.
This delight of a coffee comes from less than 5km from the town of Yirgacheffe, in the heart of the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia - known for its high-quality coffees; influenced by the region’s altitude (which makes the trees work slower and harder to produce fruit), which lends to the coffee's complex and rich flavour profile.
The farming methods in the region remain traditional, intercropped and regenerative.
Most farming in the region is done organically also with very few, if any, fertilisers or pesticides being utilised. This coffee is farmed less so on farms than it is on large family gardens. Often whole families lend a hand during harvest time.
